Welcome to the FilmCon website! For many of you this may be the first time you've been to our website and will soon discover what we're all about. And for others you've been coming here and to our conventions for over seven years. Either way, we're glad you're here. The one thing that makes FilmCon different from most conventions is the people. We are a convention where you learn new things and experience the fantastic process of film making from those who never work in front of the camera. Unlike many conventions where you go and spend tons of cash on a dealers room or getting celebrity autographs, you leave our convention knowing you've seen and listened to something new. And we hope you take what you've learned and use it to improve what you are working on. During that weekend of April 13-15 I will also have panels/lectures on how to turn the information given to you by our guests into ideas for films and, more importantly, how to make the stories you come up with work.
